Are the flowers really indistinguishable from real ones?


Our arrangements are hand-picked for shape, colour and texture. Most people only notice they are artificial flowers upon touch. And they stay beautiful for years, without any maintenance.

What are the flowers made of?


We work with high-quality materials such as silk and finely finished plastic, featuring realistic leaf veins and color gradients. This makes them look and feel natural, without the disadvantages of real flowers.

Do the flowers discolour or yellow over time?


With normal indoor use, they retain their color for a long time. Direct and intense sunlight can cause discoloration over time, just like with textiles. Therefore, do not place them in direct sunlight day in and day out, and they will remain beautiful for years.

How long do the flowers last?


Years. Where a fresh bouquet lasts a week, an artificial bouquet remains just as beautiful season after season. This makes them more cost-effective in the long run than constantly buying new flowers.

How can I compare the cost to real flowers?


Many real flowers last up to 10 days. If you divide the cost of the bouquet by the number of days you enjoy it, the artificial flower always wins! A real bouquet of 30 euros for 10 days therefore costs 3 euros per day. Our artificial bouquets are a bit more expensive, but much more economical. They last dozens of times longer. The price per day can be expressed in cents.

Where does the kunstbloem.com logo come from?


Just like our flowers, the kunstbloem.com logo is an artistic rendition of the letter K. It consists of 3 naturally shaped components: a stem, a leaf, and a flower bud, all in natural colors.

How do I order artificial flowers?



Choose your bouquet in the shop, select the size, and proceed to checkout. You will receive a confirmation by e-mail, and we will prepare your order for shipping.

Can I have a custom bouquet made?


Yes. For customisation in colour, size or style, please contact us using the contact form. Or send an email to hallo@kunstbloem.com. We are happy to help and will send you a proposal.

How can I pay?


Payment can be made safely with iDEAL, credit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, among others. The available options will be shown in the final step of checkout.

Can I order for business or with an invoice?


Yes, we also supply businesses and institutions. For larger orders or delivery on invoice, please contact us via the contact page. The first order is always subject to prepayment.

What does delivery cost?


We offer free delivery for orders over €50. For orders under this amount, a fixed contribution will be charged, which will be shown at checkout before you pay. Collection in Giessenburg, by appointment, is also possible. In this case, you will not pay any shipping costs.

When will my order be delivered?


We usually ship within 2 to 4 business days, depending on how busy we are and stock availability. Once your package has been dispatched, you will receive a track and trace link via email.

Do you deliver throughout the Netherlands?


Yes, we deliver throughout the Netherlands. If you are outside the Netherlands, please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

What is the origin of artificial flowers?

Artificial flowers feel like a modern invention, but the idea is thousands of years old. Already in ancient Egypt, people made flowers from thin horn, linen, and papyrus to decorate temples and tombs. They wanted to preserve the beauty of a flower, even when the season was over.

Around the same idea, true craftsmanship emerged in China more than a thousand years ago. Artisans folded and shaped flowers from silk and paper, so refined that they belonged only in imperial palaces. A silk flower was a sign of nobility and wealth, something you only possessed if you could afford it.

The technique came to Europe via the ancient trade routes. In the twelfth century, Venice began producing its own imitation flowers, and from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, French artisans took over. They brought the silk flower to fashion and interior design, refining it into an art form in itself.

What had been exclusively for the elite for centuries changed with the industrial revolution. Large-scale production made artificial flowers accessible to everyone. And the materials continued to evolve: in addition to classic silk, today we work with advanced fabrics and plastics that make shape, color, and texture so natural that you only notice the difference upon touch.

FAQ - About maintenance & warranty

How do I clean my artificial flowers?


Hardly any. Occasional gentle dusting with a feather duster or a dry, soft cloth keeps them fresh. No water, no food, no withered leaves to prune.

Can the flowers be in the sun or outside?


Preferably not. They are happy anywhere indoors. Prolonged exposure to bright sunlight can cause discolouration over time, so a spot out of direct afternoon sun is best. Our bouquets are made for indoor use.

Is there a warranty on the artificial flowers?


Yes, you have a 1-year warranty on artificial flowers and plants. Quality is our priority. If there is something wrong with your flowers, please let us know, and we will work together to find a suitable solution.

What if my order arrives damaged?


Of course, we don't want that. Please send us a message with a photo within a few days of receipt, and we will quickly arrange a replacement or another solution.

FAQ - About exchanges & returns

Can I return my order?


Yes, for bouquets from our standard assortment. You have a 14-day statutory cooling-off period after receipt. If you are not satisfied with your bouquet, you can return it unused and in its original packaging. Please note: the right of return does not apply to custom-made bouquets and orders.

How do exchanges or returns work?


Report your return or exchange via the contact page. We will let you know how to send the package back and what the next steps are.

Who pays for return shipping?


The cost of returning the item is your responsibility. Please register your return in advance via the contact page, and we will inform you how to send the package back.

When will I get my money back?


Once we have received and checked your return, we will refund the purchase amount to your account within a few working days.

How far in advance do I need to apply?


Ideally as early as possible, but we also look at what can be done at short notice. For large orders or busy periods such as holidays or wedding season, it helps to plan a few weeks in advance. This way we can ensure sufficient stock.

Do you do the delivery and pick-up yourselves?


Yes. We deliver and install the arrangements on location, throughout the Netherlands, and collect them again after the rental period. Delivery costs depend on the location and are stated in your quote. Alternatively, you can choose to pick up your arrangement in Giessenburg.

How much does it cost to rent artificial flowers?


You pay per day, per arrangement. The price depends on the size, quantity, and period. After your request, you will receive a no-obligation quote within one business day, with no surprises afterwards.

Can I have the color and size customized?


Yes. We will match the colour palette and size to your occasion or corporate identity. Please let us know your preferences in the application form and we will prepare a suitable proposal.

How long can I rent artificial flowers for?


From one day to ongoing. For an event, you might choose a day or a weekend, for example. For an office or institution, you lease on an ongoing basis, and we renew the arrangements periodically. What if something gets damaged?


Normal wear and tear is not an issue. In case of damage or loss, we will charge the replacement value of the arrangement concerned. This is stated in the quotation beforehand, so you know what to expect.

How do I cancel my subscription?


You can cancel every month, free of charge. You can arrange this in your account or by sending an email.

Can I change my package?


Yes. If you want to go bigger for a month or more compact, you can switch packages for the next delivery. You are never stuck with your first choice.

What does a subscription cost and are there any extra charges?


You pay the monthly fee for your package: view the current prices on the subscription page. Delivery is included. No registration fees, no surprises afterwards.

How often do I receive a bouquet?


A new bouquet every month as standard. We also offer bi-monthly and quarterly options. If you prefer a different frequency, let us know and we'll see what's possible.

Can I keep a bouquet that I like?


Certainly. You can take over any bouquet at a reduced rate: 30% discount for Small, 40% for Medium, and 50% for Large.

What happens to the old bouquet?


We will exchange it with the next delivery, unless you choose to keep it. This way, there's always something new, and you won't end up with more bouquets than you want.
